In this session, Sameet Sharma - VP & Business Head, Live IP's, Viacom18 - addresses the various challenges and obstacles faced while trying to build Vh1 Supersonic into the large-scale multi-genre festival that it is today. The session delves into the various insight-based experiments and models that Viacom18 tried & tested out to reach their final product - from conducting research based studies to understand and define their audience better, to altering the way they curate and program the festival itself.     With a career spanning 16+ years in the Live entertainment & Media Industry, Sameet Sharma has gone from building experiential campaigns & large format events for various brands while working with Geometry Global Encompass, to launching more than 30 Award winning IPs (national & regional) while heading the IP division at Reliance Broadcast Network Ltd. Currently, as a Vice President and Product Head at Viacom18, in the last 5 years he has built the Live IP portfolio extravagantly - creating IPs across Music, Comedy & Kids Entertainment clusters. He took over Vh1 Supersonic as a brand in 2015 and has shaped the predominantly EDM festival into the large-scale multi-genre spectacle, that it is today.
