Shaping A Different Future

Young musicians are often instructed on how to tackle the industry in order to succeed but are rarely asked what they envision their industry to be. Independent musicians in early stage careers and students share their perspectives on the direction they would like to see the industry take, and how they, as next generation industry want to steer the course. An open discussion with mid-career and experienced industry professionals will bring into play new technologies and methodologies that are already altering the way music is being produced, consumed and managed and the duality between creative freedom and commercial viability in an industry that is hungry for change.
