Harold Monfils Monfils Pictures / New Zealand
Monfils is a multi-disciplinary filmmaker, with a 30-year career of international exposure working on commercials, documentaries and features. Through the years his love for travel led him to shoots in over 20 countries and 5 continents, working with a wide diversity of cultures and people as director and/or producer. He has received international recognition and a wallpaper of awards for his advertising works. In 2006, he directed award-winning feature documentary ‘Laya Project’, a visual musical journey through the 2004 Asian tsunami-affected countries. His film ‘A Good Day to Die, Hoka Hey’ documents the life story and extraordinary adventures of British conflict photographer Jason P. Howe and was selected to showcase in Cannes-France at Marche du Film in May 2016, then was screened at the Los Angeles Film Festival (LAFF) United Nations Event on June 7th 2016. The World Premiere was held at Biografilm Festival in Italy, on June 14th 2016.

Tarun Jain Filmmaker
Apart from assisting, researching, writing for other professionals, Tarun Jain has produced and directed three short films. Aakhir (At Last) - his first short film which - has been screened in over 42 international film festivals worldwide, won seven awards, and five nominations. Amma Meri (Mother) is his second short film as a writer, producer and director. His stories are mostly inspired by his own observations, politically influenced and sometimes draw from personal experience.

Koel Sen Filmmaker
Koel Sen completed her Masters Diploma in Film Direction from the Film & Television Institute of India (FTII) with her diploma film VALAY, a 25 minute Marathi short fiction. In 2017, her student film, a short documentary BAHAVA, won the Emerging Talent Award at the International Association of Women in Film, Radio and Television (IAWRT). Her student short film ADHAR (Stasis) was screened at many Indian short film festivals and in 2016, she won a scholarship to study French documentary cinema at La Fémis, (Institut des hautes études cinématographiques, IDHEC) Paris. Koel Sen is currently faculty of film direction at the Whistling Woods International, Mumbai. She is also working on her first feature film script.

Nitesh Mohanty The Root
Nitesh Mohanty is a visual artist who graduated from Sir J.J. School of Art, Bombay & acquired post graduation education from NID, Ahmedabad, specializing in Textile Design. He has been a design consultant to various brands within the retail, fashion, media, publishing & hospitality industry. He’s also the co-founder of “The Root” - a platform initiated to propagate various social, cultural, political & ecological concerns through various literary and creative mediums. He curates “The Root Reel” which showcases independent features, documentaries, world cinema & animation films from India and around the world. He is also a visiting faculty member at the School of Media and Culture Studies.
